The story, though riddled with flashbacks, begins in the Big Apple at the present time. New York is frightened by a mysterious threat. In recent weeks there have been eight murders apparently interconnected, but with an overwhelming track that brings to mind a bloody mass murderer. All the victims in the days before his death, have received strange postcards where the date of his death next to the grotesque picture of a coffin.

The investigation of crimes is assigned to Will Piper, one of the most renowned specialists from the FBI in multiple murders. The implacable murderer continues its crimes and Will have to figure out their connection to the past to catch the murderer in the future. The dialogues are fluid and support the development of history, also helping to portray the main characters, although some features may sound a topical in the genre in which the plot unfolds.

An intelligent novel that forces us to consider our true destiny, facing always free will. An absorbing story woven of twigs needed to follow a storyline full of scientific and mystical connotations. Mysteries hidden by governments throughout history, personal adventures that would make the contrast with all known and even the unexpected appearance of characters mixed with multiple personality problems, make this novel a healthy exercise of entertainment with which to enjoy reading.

Then came the subsequent book signing by the author, while reassuring the audience that good wine and canapés and were waiting as the culmination of the act. Paco Gómez Clerk took a while to devote all copies, given the large number of books sold in its presentation, while the rest of us in lively discussions enfrascábamos enjoying the meal.

Finally, and how could it be otherwise, the staunchest left the library to continue talking about the divine and the human as we shared a few beers and tapas with the author, the writers had tucked in the act , family, friends and everyone who wanted to join. These talks are the best of these meetings and with whom we terminated a very interesting evening.

COMMENTARY ON FILM BEYOND DEATH

Well, I just saw the movie Beyond death. I recommend, is very good, without going to extremes leaves raised some interesting things such as scientific proof of the existence of another life after death, although it is so quick question, I think it makes clear the Good question performances, shocking in some cases (especially the scene of the tsunami of truth that causes chills), dynamic, fluid and interesting.

Not to mention the curious crops conducted on lands burned by volcanic ash, creating landscapes hitherto unknown and giving famous Malvasia wine, thanks to vines grown in such adverse circumstances.

We can not forget the beautiful beaches hutches (adjective that is synonymous in the popular jargon of Lanzarote). To the south the popular area of \u200b\u200bPlaya Blanca, with its small port and a few miles where they await the wild enclave hidden Papagayo Beach, the Women's and other small creeks that remain untouched s, trying to preserve the urban wild. A unique landscape, which we loved almost as much as curious sensation of being on the Moon, Mars or anywhere else away from Earth than we've seen in movies or imagined in our mind, when walking across the volcanic area .

As you can see we had time to sightsee, swim in the sea, enjoy the sun and its 25 º C on idyllic beaches, shopping, eating fancy or take a few delicious cocktails on terraces on cliffs. Even I thought, although I must say that not too much, in one of my literary projects (adding to the long list another novel, and even a nonfiction book.) But the good thing ends and on our way back to Madrid we windy, cold and rain, a situation that made us crave even more, those special moments in a wonderful location. In fact does not surprise me one of the phrases heard in these days off, from the mouths of different people that have tried there. People from different backgrounds who come to Lanzarote for a few days, and stayed there permanently. Something that haunts the island will all who visit ...
