When Does Nature Inspire Me

COMMENTARY ON FILM BEYOND DEATH

Well, I just saw the movie Beyond death. I recommend, is very good, without going to extremes leaves raised some interesting things such as scientific proof of the existence of another life after death, although it is so quick question, I think it makes clear the Good question performances, shocking in some cases (especially the scene of the tsunami of truth that causes chills), dynamic, fluid and interesting.

Here I give in more detail what I liked and did not like the movie.

What I liked:

- Actions. The main actors, the side, all were well done, from the type of television channel, through the child, Matt Damon, his brother, all the truth is that all showed a good level in the film.

- Photography, style, footage from the film itself, I think it is very marked the style of Clint Eastwood, in short, I liked the simple style, sometimes a little cold, sometimes a little isolated, taking advantage Always showing spaces loneliness, I think it is characteristic of this director.

- The scene of the tsunami in Asia, the truth is that struck me because it reminded me a lot those first minutes of Private Ryan, that is, scenes that engage you from the top is spectacular. When one has the idea of \u200b\u200ba Tsunami, not iamgino terrifying and ferocious that it can be. This film I think that shows the magnitude and the awfulness of a tsunami like no documentary or feature can. If you want to see how terrible and terror may be a tsunami, you have to watch that scene.

- And speaking of the Tsunami, one of the things I liked were these elements of reality that is shown in the film, not only the tsunami but also the bombing of London in 2007, finally, I liked that way of uniting facts in the film.

- The issue of psychics in itself, because it shows that there are psychics fraud and I loved that this has been seen through the eyes of a child. That is, as saying that a child would realize who is a fraud and who is not. I appreciated his wry, sarcastic to see this kind of people who often take advantage of the feelings and fears and deepest sorrows of many people.

- And finally, the question that the film leaves floating in the air there, this is if there has been any scientific proof that life exists after death. Although this question is not central (shown in one scene) I think it is very clear because nearly the text says the actress who plays a doctor "atheist" as it is called, is interesting, that is, she says, there are many similarities in the symptoms of people returning from death, which simply can not be coincidence. That is very clear raised in the film.

- Finally, the ability of the director had to leave half loose tracks along the film which are then explained in the whole tape, that is, do not think there was a scene that others, including the scene where Damon and actress are in the cooking class food testing, which initially seemed too long, it makes sense then when he gives a reading to her, and that is when one sees clearly the character of Damon's speech on for him the gift of sight or contact with dead people but a gift is a curse because it lets you have a normal life, I think the director uses it the excuse of a romantic relationship (almost ideal) to make it clear position the psychic. And as these details are many throughout the film (like the final, which will not tell) so do not miss any, as I believe that there is a scene that is over.

What I liked:

- Well now play what I liked. The truth is that I tried to find out that I liked about the movie and I have nothing to say for sure because I'm not a critic film or a film buff and everything else, but I find something I have disliked the film. I know you will not win an Oscar, but hey, I can say that the film, at least for me, had nothing to rob him or that he would. I think as it is, is perfect. I hope

comment and give their views, maybe you help me find those weak points or bad the film. Finally they

an excerpt from an interview he did Spain's La Razón Clint Eastwood talking about their vision of life after death, precisely because of this movie.

- "Beyond of life "," registration is a change in production?
-Steven Spielberg phoned me one day and said, "I have a script that I would like you to read." "Sounds good. Let me come, "he replied. He and I worked together and know each other pretty well. I read the text immediately, I liked it and called back to say he would direct the film. At that time he was going through a compromised situation with Paramount, which caused us some problems in terms of production. So I got in touch with Warner, with whom I maintain a great relationship, I took the project and gave me the green light immediately.

- there not to make changes to the script?
"I thought that was fine as I did, did not need any retouching. I had not directed a film with special effects in a long time and I wanted to do it again. Most religions talk about life after death and how this story is facing that possibility was interesting. Let me stress that I do not consider this film as a religious project, but has a spiritual touch. Anyone believe it or not the existence of another life, you can understand the message of this story. Who has not ever wondered if there is a further and how can it be? I was struck by his story line, the way the script took contemporary events like the tsunami and London bombings of 2007 and used in a story that touched the general curiosity about the afterlife and its existence. I was interested in how these three stories converge and the fact that there is a reluctant hero, who does not appreciate the gift you have.

- Do you believe in life after death?
"We all go through at some stage in our lives for a time when silver us some questions, and I am no exception. But we are dealing with a movie, to a fantasy let us never forget. There is another life would be fantastic, but I have yet to find out, give me time. Since then, I'm completely sure of is that I have no hurry to know the past.

- delved into subjects such as death and spirituality at the time to get behind the camera?
"Yes, because the film raises some questions. I put on the table topics for the viewer to draw their own conclusions from their experience, but I do not decide for him, I have not ever and not going to do in this film. Are enough cases of people who have endured near-death experiences and what they have very interesting. From the technical point of view I was more interested in images of tsunami, the special effects with which we work.

A hug and I welcome your comments.
